{"id":202473,"date":"2011-04-28T21:30:47","date_gmt":"2011-04-28T21:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/europeanbelarus.org\/?p=202473"},"modified":"2021-05-08T19:19:18","modified_gmt":"2021-05-08T16:19:18","slug":"202473","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/europeanbelarus.org\/en\/2011\/04\/28\/202473.html","title":{"rendered":"Easter greeting cards for political prisoners from &#8220;the most senior Belarusian in the world&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The famous son of the Belarusian soil now lives in Frankfurt on Main in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The activists gave Barys Wladzimiravich a book by Mikolai Khalezin, &#8220;One of Us&#8221;, about the famous Belarusians in the world, including of course Barys Kit.<\/p>\n<p>Barys Kit described the trials of democratic activists. Barys himself was a dissident and three times was put behind bars, and on one such occasion was put on death row by the Nazis.<\/p>\n<p>The famous Belarusian passed on words of encouragement to Andrei Sannikau, Zmitser Bandarenka, Alyaksandr Atroshchanka and also other political prisoners.
