Three-armed man protested against constructing nuclear power plant in Belarus

An action against constructing a nuclear power plant in Belarus was held in the center of Salihorsk.

Nearly ten young men were handing round leaflets with information about negative influence of acting nuclear plants on people living nearby that is hidden by the official authorities, the website of the civil campaign “European Belarus” reports.

Besides, the activists were holding a poster “No to New Chernobyls!” One of the participants of the action dressed like a three-armed and three-legged mutant. The other participants wore masks and respirators.

The action was organized by activists of the ecological initiative “EcoProtection” that joined the civil campaign “European Belarus”. Dozens of actions against nuclear plant constructing have been held in Minsk and in the regions.
