Easter greeting cards for political prisoners from “the most senior Belarusian in the world”
Activists of the civil campaign "European Belarus" recently visited the most famous Belarusian in the world, Barys Kit.
The famous son of the Belarusian soil now lives in Frankfurt on Main in Germany.
The activists gave Barys Wladzimiravich a book by Mikolai Khalezin, “One of Us”, about the famous Belarusians in the world, including of course Barys Kit.
Barys Kit described the trials of democratic activists. Barys himself was a dissident and three times was put behind bars, and on one such occasion was put on death row by the Nazis.
The famous Belarusian passed on words of encouragement to Andrei Sannikau, Zmitser Bandarenka, Alyaksandr Atroshchanka and also other political prisoners. He hoped that soon a time will come in Belarus when they will all be free, and our country will be truly European.
