Militia couldn’t remove national flags from electric wires

National flags continue to appear above buildings of the Belarusian capital. On 16 May activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” hung out national white-red-white flags in city districts Malinauka, Paudnyovy Zakhad and Zyalyony Luh.

The flags were affixed to electric wires, so officers of militia and public utilities managed to remove them only on the next day after they had appeared.
